"Desert Bred" sire x Seglaviye Jedraniye

Emese born in 1880, a grey Seglawieh Jedranieh mare, bred in the desert (Syria) and imported to the National Stud at Pompadour, France in 1887

Her great grandaughter Carabine (by Djebel) was imported to Russia with Dikarka (by Denouste) in utero in 1930.

At Tersk, Carabine most notably produced Kankara (the maternal great granddam of *Salon (by Negatiw) and Kasket, both both by the Denouste son, Kann. Dikarka produced Podruga (by Priboj) most noted for being the dam of Patron (by Aswan) who was the sire of the interanationally influential sire, *Padron. Patron, who was both classically beautiful and a stakes winning race horse, also produced the great endurance sire, *Statistic, who is best known for siring both Heraldic and Theatric. *Statistic is linebred Emese/Carabine as his tail female line is to her through Carabine's daughter, Kankara
